Former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, Thursday declared his interest to run for the office of the President of Nigeria on the platform of Labour party come 2019.
He made the declaration at an event held at the National Secretariat of the Labour Party, in Abuja today.
He said there comes a time in the life of a nation where all patriots must stand up to be counted.
“I have found it compelling to declare my intention to run for president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.
