Senate President Bukola Saraki has been confirmed as the Director-General of the campaign of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Kola Ologbondiyan, National Publicity Secretary of the party confirmed the new development on Monday.
According to Ologbondiyan, Sokoto and Rivers states Governors, Aminu Tambuwal and Nyesom Wike have been also named as zonal coordinators for North-West and South-South respectively.
Others who were also named as zonal coordinators are: Gombe state Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo (North-east), Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom (North-central) and the Ebonyi state Governor, Dave Umahi (South-east), and former governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose (South-west).
In other appointments, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Emmanuel Udom, was named Chairman of Fund Raising Committee, and Alhaji Taminu Turaki, was named head of the legal committee.
