Ali Modu Sheriff defects to APC

Former interim Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP], Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has departed the shores of PDP to join the All Progressives Congress [APC].

He is expected to officially join his new party today.

Sheriff would be received by the national chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and other senior officials of the ruling party, according to a senior party operative who confirmed the planned defection.
