APC defers Zamfara gov primary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its   governorship primaries in Zamfara State to Oct. 1, due to non-arrival of the election committee from the National Headquarters in Abuja.

The state Publicity Secretary of the party, Malam Shehu Isa made this known on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Usman Belel, has, however, appealed to stakeholders to cooperate with security agencies and abide by security measures during the primaries.
