Dino Melaye: I’ll make myself available to Police today

Senator Dino Melaye ((APC, Kogi) has promised to make himself available to the Nigerian Police today.

“I will make myself available to the police today. My resolve to speak the truth and defend the poor masses of NIGERIA is Total. We shall overcome!!!,”  he posted via his Twitter handle.

Melaye also tweeted that his personal security aides were withdrawn by the Police.

“All my policemen have been taken away with their arms. One CP came and took them away. There is also a plan to set me up again. But in God I trust. Truth will always prevail.”

The police on Monday night explained that the siege on Senator Melaye’s residence in Abuja was necessitated by his involvement in a case of unlawful possession of prohibited firearms.
