FIBA Women’s W/Cup: D’Tigress cruise past Greece to qualify for quarter-final

The Nigeria Women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, narrowly beat Greece 57-56 on Wednesday, at the Santa Cruz court in Tenerife to qualify for the quarter-final stage of the ongoing FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Spain.

It was their third consecutive victory, following back-to-back wins against Turkey and Argentina.

The Nigeria Women’s basketball team will now face the United States of America in the quarter-final.
