The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), TinCan Island Port, Apapa Command, says it generated about N31.8 billion for the month August.
This is against the N28.6 billion generated in the previous period of 2017, a difference of N3.2 million.
The Port also got another boost in terms of infrastructural projects, following the inauguration of a facility, tagged: “One Treatment Area”, to enhance the operations of the Query & Amendment Department.
The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Musa Baba Abdullahi, while conducting the Zonal Coordinator round the facility, noted that the project is in effort to re-position the Command to an enviable height, to enhance its status as the most user-friendly port in the sub-region.
