‘Nigerians have lost confidence in Buhari’

Nigerians have lost confidence in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to govern the country, hence the need for a change of leadership come 2019.

This was expressed by Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State.

Dankwambo who is the PDP Presidential Aspirant stated this in Jos when he visited the Plateau State Chapter of the PDP to canvas for delegates Votes ahead of the PDP Presidential primaries.

He attributed Nigeria’s economic downturn, rising insecurity and unemployment among others that is lacking in the President Buhari leadership.

Dankwambo insisted that for Nigeria to progress, the right persons must be appointed to head relevant offices without prejudice.

“We will appoint credible hands and not our nephews, in-laws and cousins into office as being a witness today.”

He maintained that the PDP has the best hands for the seat of the President, saying “All the PDP aspirants are better than what we have today in APC because they didn’t know they will get to leadership. They are used to opposition, they are used to propaganda that’s why when they got to power, all they have been doing is propaganda.”
