The lead prosecuting counsel, Ajibade, told the court that he was informed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, that the prime suspect to the robbery, Adikwu, is dead.

Ajibade requested for adjournment of the case for proper amendment to the charge sheet since the prime suspect is said to be dead.

He also stated that the case could not go on because the suspects had no legal representation. The trial judge, Halima Salman, adjourned the case to Friday, November 30th.
